BlackBerry Pearl 3G, Bold 9700 and Curve 8520 now on Pay & Go at O2 UK

O2 has announced it’s now offering BlackBerry Messenger and five RIM smartphones to Pay & Go customers.

Also available on pay monthly, the smartphones include the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, BlackBerry Bold 9700, and BlackBerry Curve 8520.

On Pay & Go, these devices cost £249.99, £349.99 and £149.99, respectively.

O2’s Pay & Go BlackBerry tariffs start at £15 per month (500MB data access included). With a top up between £15 and £29 you also get 500 texts per month, while a top up of £30 or more gets you unlimited texts.

Just for the record, Orange UK is offering BlackBerries on Pay As You Go since January last year.

O2 said nothing about the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 yet. This is coming soon to the UK, though, offered by rival carrier Vodafone.
